• simple, small, fast (lightweight)
• no or minimal default design, customizable through css
• flat file based (no database)
• clean urls (not only for apache!!!)
• posting is possible through two interfaces (uploading text files and creating posts in browser)
• breadcrumb navigation
• markdown and/or textile support
• rss and atom feeds
• tags
• search
